Ryan has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and P.E. licensure in California. After college he worked as a project engineer in the construction industry\, bringing hospitals up to seismic code compliance with Layton Construction for 2 years. Ryan worked as a structural engineer with Ashley & Vance Engineering designing over 100 structures throughout CA\, NV\, OR\, and WA prior to joining Hilti in early 2019. Since joining Hilti\, Ryan has focused on bringing technical competency and code compliance to structural engineers and contractors in the upper Midwest on Hilti's Anchoring and Decking portfolio.\n\nRyan was born and raised in Salinas\, CA. After living in San Jose for 2 years\, Ryan moved to Minneapolis\, MN in early 2019 where he currently resides with his wife and two children. Outside of work\, Ryan can be found working on home remodels\, enjoying the great outdoors\, camping\, exercising\, and cooking for his family.
