Description
Join us for a special risk management workshop on negotiating contracts. Two industry experts, Dan Buelow, Managing Director of Willis A&E and Jeff Coleman of The Coleman law firm, will present an interactive and somewhat spooky seminar on contracts. This program will review current trends and challenges that Design Firms face specific to negotiating contracts. We will review specific clauses along with advice on how firms can effectively negotiate their agreements to avoid taking on uninsurable risks. This program will also review current claim trends and why Design Firms need to “hold their ground” when it comes to certain contract provisions. We will review “Deal Breakers and Makers” that every firm should consider and share some tips and tools A&E's can use including contract review checklists, terms and conditions as well as go/no-go procedures. This is an excellent program for anyone that is responsible for negotiating contracts, managing risk and/or managing client expectations. We promise this to be a very interesting and scary event!
