Are you curious what an engineering expert witness does? Do you want to learn what you need to know about becoming an expert witness?
Rule 702 of the Federal Rules of Evidence provides that if scientific, technical, or other specialized knowledge will assist the trier of fact (judge or jury) to understand the evidence or to determine an issue, a witness qualified as an expert by knowledge, skill, experience, training, or education may testify thereto in form of an opinion or otherwise.
This presentation will include what attorneys are looking for in a technical expert witness.
