PRESENTATION: AI in Structural Engineering – NCSEA Innovation Grant
DESCRIPTION:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been selected as the topic for the NCSEA Foundation’s 2024-2025 Innovation in Structural Engineering Grant. The initiative aims to identify and support groundbreaking advancements in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). Andrew Sundal is one of the members of the grant team and local to Minneapolis. He will give an update on the grant team’s progress this year and a roadmap for structural engineering firms to adopt AI technology.
PRESENTERS: Andrew Sundal, PE
Andrew Sundal is a Project Structural Engineer and Computational Design Specialist at HGA Architects and Engineers. He is a licensed Architect and Structural Engineer and had led several research and innovation initiatives at HGA.
