Presentation Description: MN Conservation Code
The April MNSEA monthly meeting will focus on the MN Conservation Code for Existing Buildings. The presenters will give a general overview of the different levels of alterations, and the effect they have on design decisions. The different compliance methods will be covered with tips and tricks given on which method may be most appropriate for a given project. The presentation will finish with the structural implications of conformance to the conservation code. Case studies of recent MN projects will be covered by the presenters, and they will describe how their approach lead to code-compliant and creative structural solutions for complex situations.
