Regulation and Enforcement: Changes a...
Description
The board of AELSLSAGID is our profession’s traffic cop and protector of the public. If you have read the board’s “Communicator” in recent years, you know that they have been very active in enforcing the law and handing down fines. Doreen Frost, Executive Director of the Board will address the complaint process, what to expect when one is filed and how to file a complaint when you become aware of a violation of the law. She will also discuss legislation the board will be introducing (which includes a requirement of two hours of ethics training every two years) this coming legislative session, their ongoing continuing education requirements and the board’s audit process, and the upcoming renewal process and how it will be conducted in 2014. She will also take your questions.
Presenter: Doreen Frost has over a decade of experience as the Executive Director of the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design.
