Description
Who are we kidding?! We live in a world that rewards long hours, lots of face time, and sacrificing personal time. The answer is not flextime or telework. Flextime is a joke. The answer is not work/life balance. Under the current system, balance is impossible. The answer is not getting better organized, or setting your alarm fifteen minutes early to beat the morning rush, or spending a Saturday making all your lunches for the month.
And the answer is not inside your typical workplace where managers spend precious time managing flexibility when they could be spending time managing the work.
There are no tips or tricks or new types of schedules that are going to solve this problem for employees or managers. The only solution is to change the game entirely to the one thing that matters: results.
Jody Thompson will present not only a new way of working, but a new way of managing. It’s based on the radical idea that everyone in a work environment is an adult, accountable for the work that they were hired to do. Results-Only Work Environment™, or ROWE™, is a proven strategy that takes your workplace and turns it into a workforce.
