The adage, "what got you here won't get you there" couldn't be more true in our fast changing business environment. While leaders have known for some time that we have an aging workforce and Millennials who change jobs frequently, many haven't taken the steps to protect their most valuable asset - their knowledge. Recognizing this business risk has shed light on the importance of a more aggressive succession planning and knowledge transfer strategy.
Join us on February 10th as ACEC hosts an energizing program on " Succession Planning: Creating and Executing Strategies to Retain Key Knowledge". Your speakers are Patricia Berg, CEO of Career Partners International Twin Cities, and Talent Management VP Debby Magnuson. Together, Pat and Debby will share a succession planning framework, tools and strategies from CPI's Knowledge Transfer program, and "watch outs" in transferring knowledge, including issues of trust.
