Description
One of the most important tools to profitability and retention is clearly identifying the best clients for your firm and serving them efficiently. Most firms are happy to get new clients and they do not qualify the fit and actually lose money by serving the wrong people.
This presentation will cover how to identify the 20% of clients who make up at least 80% of the profitability in most firms, how to maximize on clients ‘with potential’ and how to fire ‘Ugly Clients.’ Also, included is how to work through the typical ‘push back’ this effort creates, a comparison of the systems of rating clients, best practices in serving different clients and how to get better paid for your work.
Presenter: John Edson, CPA/ABV/CFF, CMA, CVA has been a shareholder at BPKZ for over 25 years, advising clients on accounting, auditing and tax services that help them reap the benefits and rewards of their work. He also consults in the area of merger and acquisitions and provides due diligence services. John is responsible for business and new client development.
