Description
Frequent feelings of frustration, anger and even hopelessness at work are often signals that you are working for the wrong person. It is often said that people “do not leave companies, they leave bosses,” and the research supports this. Learn about the different types of “boss fails” (and how to work around them if you can), assess your corporate culture for the leadership it supports and take an honest look at your own leadership methods and quirks. This workshop is designed to be a fun and interactive session for women at all levels to discuss the power and opportunities of different leadership types.
Presenter: Wendy Nemitz, M.A., founded Ingenuity Marketing Group, one of the largest marketing firms in the country focused on professional services. In 2016 she left Ingenuity to explore greatness in individuals and organizations. Wendy has worked to help professional service firms grow for more than 25 years and was named to Minnesota Business Magazine’s “Real Power 50.” She facilitates retreats and tough conversations, teaches communication skills, and occasionally emcees the awards banquet for ACEC/MN. She is also a certified Gallup StrengthsFinder coach. Wendy can be reached at wendy@wendnemitz.com or 651 274-6461 or @IngeniusWendy.
