Description
Our panel, based on their own personal experiences, will have a moderated conversation that gives women tips and tools to advance in their careers. With the shortage of engineers in the workforce, especially women, you may hear that compensation is an area of interest for firms, but what does that really mean? The panel will discuss this and several other questions such as: Do promotions just happen? Do they just happen to other people? How can you influence your own career path? What does career planning really mean? Are your plans and goals reasonable?
Panel: The panel consists of HR representatives and engineers that also support the HR role by being a principal/owner of their firm. They will share their knowledge, experience and expertise with the group, and include. Robin Lang of HGA, Stephanie Young of Mattson Macdonald Young, Beth Clubb of EOR and Dyann Turner of AET.
Moderated By: Ann Johnson, owner of her own firm, instructor at the University of Minnesota, and member of the ACEC/MN Workforce Development committee.
