IDOM is an independent Group providing integrated professional services in the fields of Engineering, Architecture and Consultancy.

The firm was founded in Bilbao (Spain) in 1957 with the aim of offering professional and independent services in the field of engineering, concentrating on the management of industrial projects and construction. Market evolution and new client requirements channeled IDOM towards a path of continuous growth, in scope of services as well as in personnel, which has brought IDOM to be a group leader in the fields of engineering, architecture and consultancy. Over 5,300 people carry out their professional activities distributed in 45 offices in 4 continents.

IDOM provides full engineering assistance including feasibility studies, preliminary design, environmental, detailed design, drafting of tender documents, procurement support, works supervision, quality control, project management, technical assistance during plant operation, etc.…

In the United States, IDOM (previously as AEC Engineering) has been providing professional services in North America since 1981. AEC Engineering became a 100% integrated part of IDOM in 2006. IDOM USA headquarters are located in Minneapolis, MN. More than 45 years of experience in the USA means that our firm has extensive knowledge and full understanding delivering projects in the entire USA market.
