Melissa Oelke Promoted to KLJ’s Vice President of Strategic Sales

Bismarck, ND – January 9, 2025 – KLJ Engineering LLC (KLJ), is proud to announce Melissa Oelke has been promoted to Vice President (VP) of Strategic Sales. In this role, Oelke will be responsible for the strategic development, leadership, and oversight of KLJ’s project pursuits and sales initiatives. She will play a pivotal role in driving growth strategy and expanding the Company’s market presence in current and new geographies.



Oelke joined KLJ in 2018 as part of the sales team with nearly 30 years of sales and business development experience. Throughout her career, she has worked with national and international geographies and in diverse markets including transportation, municipal, water and wastewater, power, telecom, environmental, construction engineering, federal, and military installations.

Oelke most recently had been serving as associate vice president of strategic sales where she focused on development and expansion of KLJ services. Over the last six years, she played a pivotal role in driving the Company’s growth by providing essential sales pursuit leadership, proposal development leadership, sales performance measurement, and strategic planning, all of which have significantly contributed to KLJ’s expansion in multiple markets.
