Kline to Lead New Public Engagement Team for KLJ

Bismarck, ND – January 4, 2022 – KLJ Engineering is proud to announce Wade Kline will take on a new role, leading KLJ’s newly created Public Engagement Team. Kline has been transitioning into the role for the past several months and has welcomed two public engagement strategists as well as KLJ’s existing Government Relations Group to the team.

The company has completed public engagement work for decades, however recently formalized a group to provide a streamlined experience for clients and to begin to take on independent public engagement work. “Building awareness of infrastructure is a key part of the project development process, and our team has tremendous communication experience in this area. I am looking forward to seeing this area continue to grow for our company and bring greater engagement in our communities for key projects,” said Kline. As a principal transportation planner, Kline will continue to lead key planning projects and studies.

Kline has been part of KLJ since 2014 leading multiple complex transportation plans and studies, all with large public engagement components. Prior to joining KLJ, Kline served as the Executive Director of the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments.

Since the 1930s, KLJ has worked alongside communities and clients of all sizes; partnering with cities, counties, and developers — just to name a few. At KLJ, we plan, design, and support infrastructure across the country such as roads, runways, pipelines, and parks. We create solutions that turn visions into reality and improve the lives of people and communities across the nation. We do this by focusing on a business model that puts the customer first, providing an exceptional experience that truly reimagines what projects can become. KLJ has office locations that span several states and cities, but that doesn’t
