Three KLJ Professionals Achieve New Certifications
Bismarck, ND – July 17, 2025 –
KLJ Engineering LLC (KLJ) is proud to recognize the recent professional achievements of three team members who have earned industry-leading certifications in their respective fields.
Greg Olberding, based out of St. Louis Park, Minn., has earned the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) credential through the American Planning Association. Olberding is a transportation planner with more than six years of experience supporting public-sector clients, with expertise in multimodal transportation, electric vehicles, land use, and economic development. He earned his master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Minnesota. He also holds a graduate certificate in GIS from Temple University and a bachelor’s degree in economic history from the University of Pennsylvania.
Eli Powell, based out of St. Louis Park, Minn., has also earned the AICP certification. Powell is a transportation planner with experience in both the public and private sectors, focusing on bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure. They specialize in GIS mapping and public engagement and have contributed to long-range and multimodal transportation planning projects. Powell earned their master’s degree in city and regional planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a bachelor’s degree in geography from the University of Minnesota.
Evan Wolf, based in KLJ’s Eagan, Minn. office, recently earned his Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Minnesota. Wolf is a civil engineer on the Transportation team; he has more than four years of experience specializing in highway design for the Minnesota and South Dakota Departments of Transportation. He holds multiple construction inspection certifications from the South Dakota Department of Transportation and earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University.
