Description
Ethical and responsible practice and sound leadership are the goals of a “professional practice.” Attendees will learn how to attain these goals personally and as a firm. This course will bolster engineers’ understanding of their rights, as well as their responsibilities, under the MN Rules on professionalism and ethics, and expand understanding of how ethics in leadership impacts a firm and helps manage risk.
Learning Objectives:
- Review of the MN rules of professionalism for engineers
- Raise awareness of the impact/importance of leadership styles on work environment
- Learn how effective ethical leadership manages and reduces risk/liability
- Learn how to merge ethical leadership and professional practice
