Description
Employees have plenty of opportunities for concern when a firm turns in a different direction. This could be through mergers and acquisition or simply because a new group of managers has a different view on the future of the company. When there is a significant organizational change, questions arise about job security, altering of career paths, and how this change will impact the culture and values those employees have come to know. In addition, there are significant concerns about who employees will report to and what the new organizational structure is expected to look like. These concerns and more can cause significant unrest to employees at all levels.

Tom Losey is active with ACEC, a CPA and Partner with the Boulay Accounting Firm. Tom has been serving the Engineering and Architectural industries for more than 25 years each. The firm, Boulay PLLP, has been working with Minnesota businesses for over 75 years with a significant practice expertise in both professional service firms and employee-owned entities. With its staff of approximately 160 people in the Twin Cities, the firm is in the top 10 CPA firms in Minnesota.
Steven Salmi, Ph.D., LP, is CEO of Corporate Psychologists and a member of ACEC/MN.
