Gary Cunningham, president of the Metropolitan Economic Development Association (Meda) will be discussing how the organization assists minority owned, disadvantaged and women owned entrepreneurs establish their businesses to be successful professional services providers.
With many State of Minnesota funded professional services projects requiring prime consultants to team with targeted businesses, the demand for firms to fulfill these requirements is rising. Meda’s goal is to assist these businesses trying to establish themselves as a targeted business. Gary will discuss the services Meda provides to targeted businesses including one-on-one business consulting, market place connections and access to capital.
Presenter: For more than 20 years, Gary L. Cunningham has served as the top leader of philanthropic, health care, public policy, and educational organizations. Gary joined Meda as President and CEO in August 2014.
Gary has a bachelor's degree in Public Policy from Metropolitan State University and a master's degree in Public Administration from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government.
