Description

”Concrete Cracks”. Is that a statement or the title of this program? The answer to that question is both. This program helps the designer to identify, prevent, and repair 22 different types of cracks that can occur in concrete surfaces.

This program will cover the following key topics:

Plastic shrinkage cracks that can occur early during actual placement of the concrete.
Hardened concrete cracks that can occur after the concrete has reached significant strength.
High performance low shrinkage concrete to help prevent cracking.
Fiber reinforced concrete to help prevent cracking.

Speaker(s): Matthew R. Hansen is a graduate of the University of Toledo, Ohio. He has more than 25 years of successful experience in sales, marketing, and technical services within the concrete industry. He has been employed by the Euclid Chemical Company for over 17 years, and currently holds the position of National Business Development Manager. Matthew is a member of the American Concrete Institute committees ACI 362 Parking Structures, ACI 546 Repair of Concrete, ACI 563 Specifications for Repair of Structural Concrete in Buildings, and the International Concrete Repair Institute committee 110 Guide Specifications.
